Stanley D Armstrong D.D.S.

For over three decades I have been improving patients' dental health. I have come to realize that the smile affects one's well being more than most of us ever realize. My treatment plans are centered on this realization.

In my pursuit of post graduate education I have followed this theme. Taking on the challenge of becoming accredited with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a years-long journey that made me a better dentist.

I've taken my passion for dentistry to the classroom, helping shape the future of dentistry in America. Having the opportunity to teach other dentists in hands-on programs like The Aesthetic Advantage has allowed me to observe hundreds of smile makeovers. So as the teacher is often the student, I had the opportunity to learn more than I could have imagined!

Dental technology has grown leaps and bounds. Our materials are predictable and long lasting, and our techniques are nothing short of a miracle. With the union of artistic dentistry and life-like materials, a beautiful and functional smile can be part of all of my patients' futures.

Sometimes, when you love what you do, talking about it can seem almost like bragging. But isn't the point of life to love who you work for, who you work with, and what you work on?

We could talk about our training, which goes way above and beyond what is "required." We could talk about our decades upon decades of experience, or how important it is to floss. But that's really all beside the point.

Here is the point: we are a team, absolutely dedicated to the pursuit of perfection in dentistry. Because we see everyday, the incredible impact that our care has on our patients our friends and family we want everyone to have this same experience.

Laureen is a key member of our concierge team at Advanced Dental and has been with us for over five years. Known for her dependability, efficiency, and straightforward approach, she helps keep our front office running smoothly and ensures patients feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.

Laureen is a key member of our concierge team at Advanced Dental Concepts and has been with us for over five years. Known for her dependability, efficiency, and straightforward approach, she helps keep our front office running smoothly and ensures patients feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.

With many years of experience in scheduling and insurance claims, Laureen brings both expertise and clarity to what can often feel like complicated processes. Patients and team members alike appreciate her no-nonsense style paired with her genuine care.

Outside the office, Laureen is all about family and fun. She adores her five grandchildren and treasures every moment with them. She also loves to travel and is famous for her detailed trip itineraries—so much so, she could moonlight as a travel agent with all the destinations and highlights she plans. True to Maine living, she enjoys boating in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter—embracing every season to the fullest.

You won't see her photo here—Laureen is a bit elusive and not fond of being in front of the camera—so you'll just have to come in and meet her in person!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Vera, RDH

Vera is our talented and efficient dental hygienist who brings a wealth of experience and a calm, confident presence to every patient visit. She has been part of our team for over two years and is known for her thorough care, gentle touch, and genuine connection with patients.

Beyond the dental chair, Vera wears many hats—entrepreneur, accomplished photographer, creative baker, and dedicated mom extraordinaire. Her love of the ocean shines through in both her life and her work. Patients may even get a glimpse of her favorite sea creatures, like peaceful turtles gliding across the screen, while they relax in her chair.

Vera's mix of skill, creativity, and warmth makes her a true standout—both as a professional and as a person.

Treatment Coordinator

Cathy CDA, EFDA

Cathy is the "question answerer", keeping Dr. Armstrong on his toes and her patients completely informed as they go through their treatment. If you want to know the difference between a veneer and an implant, or which is the best beverage in our refreshment center, she's the one to ask!

Dental Assistant

Tabitha

Tabitha is one of Dr. Armstrong's skilled dental assistants and has been a valued part of our team for over four years. She began her dental assisting career through her training at the Dental Careers Institute, where she also earned her radiology license.

In addition, she is certified as both a CNA and a CMT. Her background in patient care as a CNA truly shines through in the compassion and attentiveness she brings to her patients at Advanced Dental.

Outside of work, Tabitha is enjoying exciting new chapters in life—she's engaged and recently purchased her first home with her fiancé. She's also a proud dog mom to Leeloo and an amazing baker, often treating friends, family, and coworkers to her delicious creations.

Tabitha's blend of clinical expertise, caring nature, creativity, and upbeat personality makes her an essential member of our team and a favorite among patients.

Dental Assistant

Ashley

Ashley is one of Dr. Armstrong's talented dental assistants and the newest member of our team, joining us nearly a year ago. With an impressive background, she has surgical training as an eye specialist, experience assisting oral surgeons, and is also a certified phlebotomist.

Out of all her training, though, Ashley has found her true passion in dentistry, where her caring nature and gentle approach shine through with our patients every day.

Outside of work, Ashley is a proud mom of two teenagers and two lively Boston Terriers—who more or less rule the household. A true Mainer at heart, she loves spending time on the water, has even called two different islands home, and seems to know just about everybody she meets.

Ashley's combination of advanced training, compassion, and adventurous spirit makes her a wonderful addition to our team and a favorite among patients.
